Kametani scores golden goal as Aztecs men’s soccer escape Chandler-Gilbert in overtime

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team was put to the test but it got its 10^th win of the season on Tuesday in Chandler.

Sophomore Hugo Kametani scored the golden goal in the 103^rd minute as the Aztecs (10-2) beat Chandler-Gilbert Community College 1-0. Kametani has 11 goals on the season. Freshman Ricky Gordillo (Maya HS) had the game-winning assist.

Freshman goalkeeper Nils Roth finished the game with six saves.

The Aztecs earned a regular season sweep over the Coyotes as they won 3-0 last month at Kino.

The Aztecs will be on the road again on Saturday when they play at Paradise Valley Community College at 12:00 p.m. The Aztecs beat the Pumas last month 8-1 at Kino.
