Tucson, AZ –Pima Community College women’s basketball player Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) got invited to a weekend event in July for a select group.
Nakai was one of 40 student-athletes invited to the 10th Annual NJCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend from July 26-29 in Atlanta, GA.
Nakai was the first Pima women’s basketball player selected WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-American as she made the honorable mentions list. She was also named first team NJCAA All-American and ACCAC Division II Player of the Year. She played in all 32 games this season averaging 17.3 points, 6.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
