(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (3-0-1) took control early in Saturday’s game against South Mountain Community College (0-5).
The No. 3 ranked Aztecs men’s soccer team scored eight goals in the first half and went on to beat the Cougars 13-0 to earn their third straight win.
Freshmen Josh Allison (Corona del Sol HS), Estevan Manzo (Salpointe Catholic HS), Jacob Contreras (Ironwood Ridge HS), and Kevin Tchoffo each scored two goals while sophomore Nico Walschburger finished with three assists. Freshmen Taye Bunda and Javier Martinez (Tucson HS) each had a goal and an assist in the game.
The Aztecs finished with 20 shots on goal. Sophomore Nils Roth had one save in the first half. Freshman Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) finished with two saves in the second half.
The Aztecs outscored their opponents 18-0 this week.Allison has scored four goals in the last two games while Manzo has scored four goals in the last three games.
The Aztecs will be back at Kino North Stadium on Thursday when they host Phoenix College at 7:00 p.m.
