(Chandler, AZ) The Park University Gilbert volleyball team (4-7, 1-4) lost to the Azusa Pacific University Cougars (11-0, 0-0) by a score of 3-1, Saturday afternoon at Justice University.
The Buccaneers dropped a non-conference contest to a Cougars team that notched its fifth win this season against a Great Southwest Athletic Conference opponent. Park-Gilbert fell to Azusa Pacific in four sets (23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 18-25).
Park was lewd offensively by Keep Williams who tied her career-high of 15 kills on 50 total attacks. Hayven Lick and Kyla Knight also recorded double-digit kills, with 11 and 10 respectively. Lick also added 11 digs, logging her first double-double of the season. Setter Adrianna DeMario recorded her third game with 40+ assists and was one dig shy of a double-double.
