(Colorado Springs, CO) In conjunction with the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, Sun Devil Hockey has announced on Tuesday morning the NCHC portion of its 2026-27 schedule.
Arizona State will host 12 of its 24 conference games at Mullett Arena. Over the course of the regular season, the Sun Devils will play every conference opponent at least twice, while squaring off against Denver, Omaha and Minnesota Duluth four times in home-and-away series. Puck drop times for each of ASU’s conference matchups will be announced at a later date.
Arizona State, which picked up seven conference wins last season, will open NCHC play with a two-day trip to St. Cloud State (Oct. 30-31), before returning to Mullett Arena to begin the home conference slate against the reigning national champions, Denver, with two games over a three-day span from November 6-8. The series against Denver will take place on Friday, Nov. 6 and Sunday, Nov. 8 due to Sun Devil Football’s home game against Colorado on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Following a week away from action, the Sun Devils travel north to face Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 20-21) and then continue conference play with a pair of home series against Colorado College (Dec. 4-5) and Western Michigan (Dec. 11-12).
After a week off, the Sun Devils will head to Milwaukee to compete in the Kwik Trip Holiday Faceoff scheduled for Dec. 28-29, featuring UMass, Northern Michigan and Wisconsin, which was previously announced on April 7, 2026.
ASU begins the 2027 calendar year with a conference matchup at Omaha (Jan. 8-9), before returning to Tempe for its only home series in January, hosting Minnesota Duluth on January 15 and 16. The Sun Devils will wrap up January with a trip to Oxford, Ohio, to play Miami (Ohio) on January 22 and 23.
From there, the Sun Devils head to Magness Arena to face Denver (Feb. 5-6), and then return to Mullett Arena to host North Dakota (Feb. 12-13). The team heads to the tri-cities to face St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, for the first time as NCHC opponents on February 19-20, before wrapping up the regular season at home against Omaha on February 26-27.
