(Tempe, AZ) The Park University Gilbert beach volleyball team (3-6, 1-5) lost to the Stephen F. Austin University Lumberjacks (3-2, 1-1) by a score of 5-0, Thursday evening at the Sun Devil Classic.
The Buccaneers lost their first of three games this week against a Division I opponent, as Stephen F. Austin currently holds second place in the Southland Conference.

- Annabella Howerton and Gilardi Parra de So (SFA) def. Aliya Unseth and Keep Williams (PARK) 21-17, 21-13
- Gabrie Damborowiski and Luna Franca (SFA) def. Kyla Knight and Hayven Lick (PARK) 21-13, 21-14
- Mikaela Dioso-Lopez and Gianna Reamer (SFA) def. Athena Hice and Marissa Moorehouse (PARK) 21-12, 21-2
This will be the only game Park-Gilbert plays in the Sun Devil Classic, hosted by Arizona State University. The Bucs return to their home court this Sunday, March 8 at 9 and 11 a.m. MST, for a doubleheader against the Nebraska University Cornhuskers (7-0, 0-0) at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona.
