(Irving, TX) On Wednesday the Big 12 Conference announced the lacrosse weekly awards of the season for week two, and Sun Devil Lacrosse’s freshman goalkeeper Gabriella Henry was tabbed with Freshman of the Week honors after her relief appearance against No. 22 Denver. After replacing Spiciger in net with 3:35 remaining in the first quarter, Henry went on to tally 11 saves and stop six of eight free position shots en route to a .524 saves %. Her 11 saves are a single-game high among Big 12 goalies through the last two weeks of play. She is the second weekly honor for ASU this season, coming one week after Averie Cage was named Freshman of the Week last week.
