(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s basketball player Isaiah Hill (Premier Prep Academy) showcased his shooting touch during the week of Jan. 25-31.
Hill, a freshman guard, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the second time in January as he took home his first honor for the week of Jan. 11-17.
Hill averaged 23.0 points, 8.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals as the Aztecs won two road games at Glendale Community College and Mesa Community College. He shot 56.3 percent (18-for-32) from the field, 66.7 percent (8-for-12) from three-point range and 100 percent (2-for-2) from the free throw line.
He has played and started in 22 games this season averaging 15.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 3.7 steals. Hill is shooting 61.1 percent from the field, 56.3 percent from beyond the arc and 76.0 percent from the foul line.
The No. 4 ranked Aztecs beat Community Christian College 133-65 on Wednesday and get back to ACCAC conference play on Saturday at Scottsdale Community College. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
