Sours-Miller’s 27.5-point, 12.0-rebound average earns third nod as ACCAC Player of the Week

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College women’s basketball player Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City Christian) displayed her dominance as the Aztecs went 2-0 for the week of Jan. 18-24.

Sours-Miller, a sophomore post player, earned her third selection as ACCAC Division II Player of the Week. She has previously earned honors for the weeks of Jan. 11-17 and Nov. 30-Dec. 6.

Sours-Miller recorded two double-doubles as the Aztecs went on to beat Chandler-Gilbert Community College and South Mountain Community College. She averaged 27.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks. She also shot 69 percent (25-for-36) from the field.

Sours-Miller has played and started in 20 games this season averaging 17.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.1 steals per game. She is shooting 60.9 percent from the field.

She has eight double-doubles this season, including her 18-point, 17-rebound performance in Wednesday’s win at Glendale Community College.

The No. 12 ranked Aztecs face a tough road test on Saturday when they play at No. 11 Mesa Community College. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m.
