(Hermosillo, Sonora) Naranjeros won 5-4 in the first game of a doubleheader and secured the series at Fernando Valenzuela Stadium.
The orange team took the lead in the top of the third inning when, with the bases loaded, Isaac Paredes singled, driving in Angel Ramírez. Shortly after, another run scored on a sacrifice fly by César Salazar, making it 2-0.
Tucson’s offense responded, and in the bottom of the third, Jesús Fabela scored on an RBI single by River Town.
Naranjeros extended their lead again in the fourth inning, scoring twice against Zoé Carrillo, with José Cardona and José Ramírez scoring.

In the fifth inning, Milan Tolentino drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to make it 5-1.
In the bottom of the same inning, Samar Leyva drove in Marco Chicuate, and Agustín Ruiz did the same for River Town, narrowing the gap to 5-3.
Tucson rallied again in the sixth inning, and facing Luis Márquez, Edgar Lugo drove in Missael Rivera to make it 5-4, the final score.
The win went to Luis Márquez, with Sean Reid-Foley earning the save, and Zoé Carrillo taking the loss.
