(Hermosillo, Sonora) Despite a strong performance by Daniel de la Fuente, the Hermosillo offense capitalized on the bullpen’s wildness and secured the victory, clinching the series at Fernando Valenzuela Stadium in the Sonoran capital.
The game remained close until the fourth inning when, taking advantage of a lapse i concentration by starter Daniel de la Fuente, Willie Calhoun hit an RBI single that put the home team ahead 1-0.

Tucson responded in the top of the sixth inning, turning the game around. First, Samar Layva drove in Agustín Ruiz with a sacrifice fly, tying the game. Then, Alexis Wilson drove in Gaige
Howard with a single, making it 2-1. The game continued with a great pitching duel until the bottom of the eighth, when Naranjeros put together a 5-run rally to take a 6-2 lead. Jesús Loya hit a solo home run to tie the game, Harol Ramírez drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to right field, Brayan Mendoza scored on a bases-loaded walk to Agustin Murillo, and Angel Ramírez followed with a two-run single, scoring Willie Calhoun and TT Bowens to make it 6- 2.
In the top of the ninth, Tucson added another run when Aldo Nuñez scored on a double by
Ramón Mendoza, bringing the final score to 6-3. Charlie Hasty took the loss in relief, pitching one and one-third innings, while Daniel Missaki earned the win with one inning of work.
