(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (5-0) showcased its high-powered offense once again in its win over Benedictine University Mesa JV.
The No. 3 ranked Aztecs scored 92 first half points and went on to beat the Redhawks 160-44. The Aztecs outscored Benedictine JV 92-22 in the first half and 68-22 in the second half.
Freshman Will Feagles (Notre Dame Prep) scored a game-high 37 points as he was 13 for 15 from the field and 9 for 11 from three-point range. He also had four rebounds and two steals.
Freshman Rowan McKenzie (Boulder Creek HS) went 10 for 13 from the field and 6 for 8 from downtown as he finished with 29 points to go with four rebounds and three steals.
Sophomore Taevean Famutimi-Brown closed it out with 21 points as he went 7 for 8 from the field with six rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Sophomore Mason Hunt (Bradshaw Mountain HS) added 19 points while fellow sophomore Ky Green had 18 points. Sophomore Isaac Johnson contributed with 14 points.
Freshman Isaiah Hill (Premier Prep) finished with five points, seven rebounds, 14 assists and six steals.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Saturday against Justice College JV. Tipoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
