(Tepic, Nayarit) In a back-and-forth game, the Tucson Baseball Team secured a 5-3 victory over the Nayarit Jaguars, tying the series at Estadio Coloso del Pacífico.
Once again, the scoring opened in the very first inning, this time favoring the home team,
who scored on an RBI double by Jacob Rhinesmith, bringing Carlos Sepúlveda home for the
first run.
The game remained 1-0 until the fourth inning when Tucson tied the score when Agustín Ruiz scored on a single by Alexis Wilson.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Jaguars added two more runs to their tally. Jacob
Rhinesmith drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Ricardo Valenzuela followed with a double, bringing the score to 3-1.
Tucson tied the game again in the top of the sixth inning, thanks to a double by Agustín Ruiz
that drove in Bobby Bradley and Samar Leyva, making the score 3-3.
In the top of the eighth, Tucson took the lead for the first time in the game, scoring two runs.
The first came on a wild pitch by Cole Paplham, and the second on a groundout by Alexis
Wilson, with Agustín Ruiz scoring from third to put Tucson ahead 5-3.
The win went to Charlie Hasty, while the save was credited to Garret Alexander. The loss was
charged to Paplham.
