(Los Mochis, Sinaloa) Los Mochis swept the series against Tucson, who couldn’t contain the green offense in the fifth series of the ARCO Mexican Pacific League regular season, winning the game 7-4.
A moving tribute and show of respect for the victims of the fire and explosion that occurred in Hermosillo the previous day took place in the fifth inning, with both teams and all the fans present at the ballpark participating.

Three runs in the top of the first inning quickly put the Sinaloa team ahead. Rodolfo Amador drove in a run with a double, and Yasmany Tomás reached base on a fielding error by Agustín Ruiz, scoring Eric Filia and Rodolfo Amador on the play.
Alexis Wilson scored one run for Tucson in the second inning with an RBI single, bringing Bobby Bradley home.
Mochis regained the lead, scoring another run in the top of the third on a wild pitch by Eduardo Mares, but Tucson quickly responded with a sacrifice fly by Gaige Howard, scoring Jesús Fabela to make it 4-2.
Cañeros struck again in the fourth inning with another run, this time by Josh Rehwaldt.
Two more runs for Los Mochis came in the fifth inning on Asael Sánchez’s fourth home run of the season, which brought Eric Filia home.

Tucson Baseball Team. Bobby Bradley drove in one run, and Samar Leyva added another with a single, making the score 7-4. In the ninth inning, the Green team’s pitching staff held off the Tucson club’s offense, securing a 7-4 victory and taking the series in Sinaloa.
The win went to pitcher Jonás Garibay, who worked 3.1 innings of relief, striking out 3 and walking 1. Danis Correa earned the save, while the loss was charged to starting pitcher Daniel de la Fuente.
