(Phoenix, AZ) The Pima Community College volleyball team (5-8, 2-2 in ACCAC) hit the road on Wednesday for an ACCAC conference match at Phoenix College (2-9, 1-3).
The Aztecs earned a straight set victory over the Bears winning 25-22, 25-15, 25-20.
Freshman Alexia Hutchens (Salpointe Catholic HS) closed out the match with a team-high 11 kills to go with eight digs.
Sophomore Maggie McReynolds (Mountain View HS) finished with her sixth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 11 digs. She has produced double digits in kills for 11 of the 12 matches played so far this season.
Freshman Alex Jacome (Canyon del Oro HS) closed out the match with 17 assists and three aces while sophomore Julia Baird had nine kills and three blocks.
The Aztecs will play their next three ACCAC conference matches at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. They will host Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
