(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (21-2) left no doubt in the first half on Friday as it beat Laramie County Community College (8-7-1) on Friday in the NJCAA District I semifinals.
The Aztecs scored three goals in the first half to beat the Golden Eagles 3-0.
Freshman Itsuki Ishihara scored the final two goals for the Aztecs in the 23rd and 35th minutes.
The Aztecs finished with 11 shots on goal and freshman Nils Roth had four saves.
The Aztecs will return to Kino North Stadium on Saturday to play Snow College for the NJCAA District I Championship at 7:00 p.m. The winner advances to the NJCAA Division I Tournament in Daytona, FL.
