Arizona State improved to 20-12, getting to the 20-win mark for the second year in a row, third time in program history. ASU is one win away from matching the best win total of 21, which was achieved in 2024 and 2019.

The Sun Devils finished the home season with a 9-1 mark. That is the best home record in team history, both by win total and winning percentage.

Prior to the duals, three Sand Devils were honored for Senior Day: Samaya Morin, Anya Pemberton and Lillie Seymour. All three played today, with all three going undefeated.

Every Sand Devil won their match today. Some new faces made the lineups. Sophomore Annalyse Askewjumped in on court two with Morin and played both duals, winning both in her collegiate debut. Seymour made her season debut on court five with junior Arden Besecker against UTEP, sweeping their match.

Quotes

Head Coach Kristen Glattfelder

On the mindset going into the Big 12 Championships:
“We’re excited to compete. It’s getting to a point where they’re feeling confident and everything that we’re doing. We’ve had a lot of partnership changes. To have the opportunity to try that out against Florida State and the two this weekend was great, also get our seniors out there and compete. I’m excited to compete and bring home a Big 12 Championship.”

On what they keys to success were in today’s matches:
“We talked a lot about focusing on our side. The things that we’ve been doing and working on in practices, being good at those things. Our system, serve and receive, and having an aggressive mindset in everything that we’re doing.”

On the atmosphere during the final home game of the season:
“It was awesome. We had a bunch of fans, a lot of people from the community, a lot of families, and alumni. It was cool to have everyone supporting our seniors and cheering us on.”
