(Federal Way, WA) No. 4/17 Sun Devil Swim and Dive became the 2025 Big 12 Champions, giving the women’s team their first conference championship in program history and the men’s team their first Big 12 championship in program history on Saturday night.
For the men’s team, this is their third-straight conference championship as they won the last two Pac-12 Championships as well.
Four Conference Titles Already
With the 2025 Big 12 swimming/diving titles clinched, ASU has won four Big 12 titles this year after winning football and volleyball in the fall. It marks the most conference titles ASU has won since 2007-08, when the Sun Devils won five (baseball, co-champions in football, men’s golf, softball and women’s track and field).
Both swim and dive teams combined for 29 Big 12 titles, and set 13 records over the week.

Kayden Hayes won her first conference title in platform diving with 251.60 points, becoming the first Sun Devil since 2018 to win a conference championship in platform diving since 2018.
Caroline Bentz got the night started with a victory in the 1:51.89 and setting a school record in the 200 back and her third individual title. Julia Ullmann secured a podium finish in the 100 free in 48.82.
Jonny Kulow and Patrick Sammon placed first and second in the 100 free, Kulow set a personal best and set a meet record in 41.07 and Sammon swam a 41.39. Tommy Palmer was fourth in 42.00.
Andy Dobrzanski and Oscar Bilbao went first and second for the men in the 200 breast, Dobrzanski swam a 1:51.93 and Biobao clocked in a 1:52.31. On the women’s side, Emma Gehlertwas seventh in 2:11.19 and Zoe Summar was eighth in 2:12.30 earning second-team All-Big 12.
The night rounded out with the women’s team winning the 400 free relay with a winning time of 3:13.64 and confirming the first conference title for the women’s team in program history. For the men, the set a Big 12 record in 2:44.03 to close out the meet with a win and securing their first Big 12 championship,
