(Irving, TX)  On Thursday the Big 12 Conference announced the Inaugural 2025 Preseason Lacrosse awards, which highlighted four from Sun Devil Lacrosse, and ASU picking up the No. 3 spot in the Coaches Poll.

Anna Viglione was named Preseason Draw Specialist of the Year while Lydia Oldknow, Bella Ingrao, and Helen Park were named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team. All Sun Devils were unanimously selected for these honors.

As a freshman last season, Viglione totaled 60 draw controls on the year, the sixth most in a single season in Arizona State program history. Viglione played 18 games for the Sun Devils last season and ended the year with four goals and one assist.

In 2024, Oldknow led the Sun Devils with 48 goals, which was third all-time in a single season in program history. She also tallied 19 assists, good for 67 points, sixth most in a single season. Oldknow’s 65 career goals is seventh all-time in the program’s career recordbooks.

Ingrao started all 19 games for ASU last season and netted 14 goals and seven assists.

Park did not appear in a game in 2024 due to injury, but is set to play in 2025 after recovering from an ACL tear. She most recently won Gold with Team USA at the Box Lacrosse Championships in New York in October.

Lacrosse’s season is set to kick off on February 7 for a two-game road trip against Niagara and Pittsburgh. The home opener is set for February 15 against Detroit Mercy.
