(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College Women’s Basketball standout Kiley Sours-Miller continued to be a difference maker on the court and her contribution caught the attention at the national level for the week of Jan. 19-25.
Sours-Miller, a freshman post player, was selected NJCAA Division II Player of the Week as well as, ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the fifth time this season. Her previous conference honors have been for the weeks of Nov. 3-9, Nov. 17-23, Dec. 1-7 and Jan. 12-18.
She averaged a double-double of 17.0 points, 14.5 rebounds and shot 53 percent (17-32) from the field. She also totaled six blocks and two steals and snatched 17 offensive rebounds as the Aztecs won at South Mountain and against Glendale Community College.
She has played in 20 games; making 18 starts and is averaging 16.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
The No. 8 ranked Aztecs are back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium tonight as they host No. 5 ranked Mesa Community College. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
