Bucs Men’s XC Competes At The Master’s Invitational

(Santa Clarita, CA)  The Park University Gilbert men’s cross-country team competed Saturday morning in The Master’s University XC Invitational, at Central Park in Santa Clarita, Calif.

30 schools participated in the 8K event, and the Buccaneers had two out of a total 234 runners: Seniors Davin Soto and Manuel Najara.

The Master’s held the highest team score at the end of the day, but Embry-Riddle’s Demetrius Love Jr. earned first place with a time of 24:11.70.

Soto finished shortly after, placing 77th with a time of 26:07.40. Najara finished with a time of 34:16.50.

The Buccaneers men’s cross-country team will once again travel to SoCal in two weeks, when they take on the UC Riverside invitational on Oct. 19, in Riverside, Calif.
