(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s soccer player Brandon Sanchez (Canyon del Oro HS) helped the Aztecs score a total of 14 goals for the week of Sept. 8-14, and was rewarded for his efforts.
Sanchez, a sophomore midfielder, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week.
He scored four goals, which included a hat trick in Pima’s 11-2 win over South Mountain Community College. He netted the first goal in their 3-0 win over Glendale Community College.
Sanchez has played and started in five games this season with five goals and two assists for a total of 12 points.
The No. 4 ranked Aztecs are back on the field on Saturday when they play at No. 2 Phoenix College. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
