(Tempe, AZ)  Sun Devil Beach Volleyball is reloading for 2025 as the team brings three transfers: junior Tori Clement from Stetson, sophomore Olivia McElroy from the University of Arizona and sophomore Kaydon Meyers from Pepperdine.

Tori Clement
Junior | 6-0 | Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Clement spent her first two seasons at Stetson, playing on the top court for the entirety of the 2024 season with a 20-12 record. The Hatters went 22-12 last season and were ranked all year in the top 20, coming just short of a bid to the NCAA Tournament after falling in the ASUN Championship dual. In her freshman year, she went 11-10, playing every court but the ones and earning three wins over pairs from ranked teams. Her efforts earned her a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman Team.

Prior to college, she graduated from Strathcona High School and earned honours with distinction during her schooling. She won the U15 Division I Provincials and was named the MVP. She was the U18 indoor and provincial champion in 2019 and helped her indoor team to be city champions in 2021. Her parents are Melissa and Curtis and she has one younger sister, Addison. Her father played indoor volleyball at Red Deer College.

Olivia McElroy
Sophomore | 5-10 | Cornelius, North Carolina

McElroy played on the top two courts all season for the Wildcats in 2024 as a defender, going 18-15 and being ranked in the top 20 for the majority of the year. She went 7-2 at the No. 2 spot and 11-13 at the ones. She helped the team be ranked for the majority of the season and clinched the upset over Grand Canyon.

Before college, she had a successful prep career. She was honorable mention for the AVCA Junior Beach All-America list in 2023 and was named to the Fab 50 list by VolleyballMag.com. At William H. Hough High School, she played four years of indoor volleyball, two years of basketball and one season of track and field (long jump, high jump). In indoor volleyball, she won four conference championships and was named to the 4A All-State Team as a senior. She also was All-Lake Player of the Year. It wasn’t until her sophomore year that she started beach volleyball, playing for Sinjin Beach Club in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Kaydon Meyers
Sophomore | 5-10 | Scottsdale, Arizona

Meyers spent her freshman year at Pepperdine, where she earned a 17-21 record primarily playing on court four. Returning to the Valley, Meyers grew up playing volleyball in the area, attending the ASU Preparatory Academy and playing club for RPM Sand.

Her accolades before college are numerous. She had many gold bracket finishes at BVCA, AAU and AVP Nationals, taking ninth at AVP Nationals twice. Additionally, she took fifth at the AVP East Coast Championships, the AVP West Coast Championships and the AAU Junior Olympics. At the BVCA West Coast Pairs Championships, she earned a second-place finish. She won the P1440 Arizona Championships. Her parents are David and Deanna, and her mother played softball at Pacific Union College
