(Mesa, AZ) Park Gilbert beach volleyball hosted a competitive match against Division II Wayne State College on Tuesday morning, dropping four of the five overall sets.
Annika Wallace and Megan Hicks (No. 1) along with Georgia Romine-Black and Grace Baker (No. 2) lost their matches after a competitive three sets.
(No. 3) Samantha Washmuth and Brooke Beresford struggled to find their rhythm, losing 2-0 against Allie Beresford and Isabelle Vacek from Wayne State. The Buccaneers only win came from the fours court, with Jasmine Urban and Brittlee Harper crawling back from being down after the first set.
The Buccaneers are slated to host Benedictine University Mesa and Westcliff University on March 10, with the University of Saint Katherine and Colorado Mesa University visiting on March 11 and 12 respectively.
