(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College softball pitcher Arianna Flores (Salpointe Catholic HS) had a stellar season in the circle and was rewarded for her efforts with national recognition.
Flores, a freshman, was selected NJCAA Division II Third Team All-American. She is the 20th NJCAA All-American to come out of the softball program.
This is the third straight year the Aztecs have produced an NJCAA All-American. Camila Zepeda (Tucson Magnet HS) earned second team honors in 2024, and Elise Munoz (Salpointe Catholic HS) was named to the second team in 2023.
Flores joins previous softball NJCAA All-Americans: Camila Zepeda (2024), Elise Munoz (2023), Courtney Brown (2016), Alexis Dotson (2014), Yvette Alvarez (2013), Marina Contreras (2011), Kaity Ingram (2010), Jordan Trujillo (2010), Dana Alcocer (2007), Amanda Duran (2006), Lisa Parks (2004, 2005), Jennifer Martinez (2003), Rebekah Quiroz (2002), Sita Huerta (1993, 1994), Norma Natividad (1986), Diane Brown (1980), Wera Jacobs (1979).
Flores closed out the 2025 season with a 22-5 record in 32 total appearances, throwing 14 complete games and 142.1 innings. She finished with a 2.16 ERA (first in ACCAC) with 202 strikeouts (second in ACCAC).
She was named ACCAC Division II Co-Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-ACCAC and All-Region I, Division II. Flores was named the Region I, Division II Championship Game Most Valuable Player. She earned four nods as ACCAC Division II Pitcher of the Week.
The Aztecs finished with a 53-9 overall record (most wins in a season since 2012) and 35-7 in ACCAC conference play (most wins since 2015). They’re the first ACCAC conference team to win Region I Championships in two different divisions: Division I (2024) and Division II (2025).
