(Prescott, AZ) The Park University Gilbert golf team remains in fifth place after day two of the Great Southwest Conference Championships at Antelope Hills North Golf Course in Prescott, Ariz.
The Buccaneers shot a six-over 294 today which puts them at +11, 12 shots behind OUAZ who shot a four-under 284 today to sit at -1 for the tournament.
Individually, Senior Eli Cruzan shot the Bucs best round of the day with a one-under 71. Which puts him in a tie for sixth place, four shots off the lead.
Sophomore Riley Wortman who led the team with a one-under 71 in round one, shot a two-over 74 today, He is now in a tie for ninth.
The Bucs second best round of the day belonged to sophomore Jax Sisson who shot an even par 72 with six birdies and six bogeys He moved up eight spots into 12th-place.
Freshman Isaiah Halcomb shot a five-over 77 for the second consecutive day and he moved up six spots to 24th-place.
The Bucs produced three more birdies than they did in round one with 16 birds today in round two.
