(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College softball pitcher Belen Camacho (Pueblo HS) produced two quality starts for the week of March 30-April 5 and was awarded for her efforts.
Camacho, a freshman RHP, was named ACCAC Division II Pitcher of the Week.
She went 2-0 with wins over Central Arizona College and Mesa Community College. She pitched 11 innings, giving up two runs (none earned) on eight hits with 15 strikeouts and six walks.
Camacho is 5-3 in 12 appearances this season. She has thrown 42.2 innings with a 4.43 ERA and 52 strikeouts.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Softball Field on Saturday when they host an ACCAC conference doubleheader against Paradise Valley Community College. First game will start at 12:00 p.m.
