(Irving, TX) The 2025 Big 12 volleyball schedule has been released, with the reigning champion Sun Devil Volleyball beginning conference play at Kansas on September 26.
The Sun Devils, who won their first conference title last season, will face all Big 12 teams once throughout the season, competing against four twice: Arizona, BYU, Colorado and Utah. The conference had five teams ranked in the final AVCA Poll last season, with six making the NCAA Tournament.

Arizona State will start Big 12 play on the road, facing Kansas on September 26 and staying local to play at Kansas State on September 28. In October, the Sun Devils will travel home for a three-game stretch, starting with Utah on October 4 and midweek against Baylor on Wednesday, October 8. They’ll finish their first set of conference home games against Colorado on October 10.
The team is away for three games next. The first stop is at BYU on October 16 and second at Utah on October 18. The road trip ends down in Tucson for the first rival match-up against Arizona on October 25. The Sun Devils then make a quick return to Tempe to face TCU on October 29 before they cap off the month away at Iowa State on October 31.
ASU is back for another three games with Texas Tech and BYU on November 5 and November 7, respectively. The homestand finishes with the second game against Arizona on November 11. Back on the road, ASU will play Colorado on November 15 then UCF on November 19. Away games finalize in Texas against Houston on November 21.
The regular season and home finale will start with Cincinnati on November 26 and close out against West Virginia on November 29.
Last season, Arizona State put together a 30-3 overall record and 17-1 conference showing, winning them the 2024 Big 12 Championship title. This was the first Big 12 title for the program and for all of Sun Devil Athletics. ASU earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and hosted the first two rounds.
The departure of seven key players leaves ASU with spots to fill on the court. The Sun Devils return senior Bailey Miller, junior Jillian Neal, and redshirt sophomore Brynn Covell as the leaders in playing time, each contributing for the majority of last season. Neal and Covell were excellent from the service line with 36 and 24 aces, respectively. Miller played in 76 sets and tallied 147 kills on the year.
Arizona State said goodbye to many, but the program welcomed seven transfers and signed three freshmen. The transfers are Colby Neal, Tatum Parrott, Sydney Henry, Noemie Glover, Ella Lomigora, Zoey Burgess and Faith Frame. Freshmen Ella Lewis, Ceci Vance, and Maila Ribeiro make up the incoming class.
The non-conference schedule will be announced on a later date.
