It’s the team’s first top-20 finish since 2019
(Federal Way, WA) Sun Devil Women’s Swim and Dive capped off a historic season with a 19th place showing at the NCAA Championships, marking the first time the Sun Devil women finished inside the top-20 since 2019 when the team finished 20th and the best finish at NCAAs since 2012 when ASU placed 12th.

The women’s 400 free relay team of Caroline Bentz, Erin Milligan, Julia Ullmann and Charli Brown placed 19th with a time of 3:13.29, placing third in the second heat of the relay. In the first year competing in the Big 12 Conference, the Sun Devil Women earned its first conference title in program history and was the top Big 12 school at NCAA’s. Five different Sun Devils garnered All-American honors during the week, the most for the ASU women since 2020.
Graduate Caroline Bentz accounted for all 41.5 points for the Sun Devils, earning four All-American honors this week. She now has seven All-American honors in her career. Fifth year Erin Milligan garnered two All-American honors in the 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay this week, making her a four-time All-American as a Sun Devil. Freshman Julia Ullmann wraps her first season as a Sun Devil helping ASU capture their first Big 12 title and earning three All-American nods in the 200 & 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
