(Irving, TX) After winning two event titles last week, graduate Jada Mangahas is this week’s Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week, the first Big 12 weekly award for the Sun Devil Gymnastics.
This is the first weekly award of the year for Arizona State. For Mangahas, it is her second weekly award in her career, her first since her freshman year.

Mangahas, a door-to-door Devil, won the vault and bars titles in ASU’s win over Texas Woman’s University last Friday. She scored a 9.850 on vault to match her season high. On bars, she set a new season high with a 9.875, tying for the event title with teammates Sarah Clark and Emily White. That was her first bars title in her five years as a Sun Devil. Mangahas’ career total for event titles is now up to eight.
Arizona State is back in action this Friday at home against No. 4 Utah at 7 p.m. MST on ESPN+.
