(Austin, TX) On the final day of the Eddie Reese Showdown No. 4/17 Sun Devil Swim and Dive won four events and finished in second place for the morning session.
The Sun Devils will then prepare for in-state rival Arizona and celebrate the seniors on February 8th. The meet will begin at 12 p.m MST at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.

Saturday Morning Session
Beginning with the 200 back, Jordan Greber was the top Sun Devil, placing seventh in 1:57.46, then Charli Brown was eighth in 1:57.53. For the men, Jack Wadsworth was fifth in 1:43.58 and freshman Lucien Vergnes was eighth, finished in 1:44.77.
The 100 free featured Caroline Bentz clocking a 48.27 for a third-place showing. Then, Kulow won in a swift 41.11, a season-best. Patrick Sammon was fourth with a time of 42.10. Tommy Palmer won the ‘B’ final in 42.20.
For the women’s 200 breast Emma Gehlert was sixth and finished in 2:10.96, Zoe Summar followed in seventh place in 2:11.71. Andy Dobrzanski won the 200 breast in a season-best time of 1:53.11, Cale Martter was fourth in 1:56.65. In the women’s 200 fly Sonia Vaishnani was the top Sun Devil and placed seventh in 1:57.82, followed by Julia Ullmann in 1:58.86.
In the men’s 200 fly, Ilya Kharun won by more than three seconds and finished in a fast 1:39.18. Filip Senc-Samardzic was fourth who clocked in a 1:44.28. For the women’s 1650 free, Deniz Ertan notched a podium finish in 16:02.35 for third place. On the men’s side,
In the final race of the weekend, ASU’s ‘A’ relay of Bentz, Erin Milligan, Brown and Julia Ullmann finished fifth in 3:15.07. For the men’s 400 free relay, Kharun, Palmer, Sammon and Kulow won the race in 2:45.13, for a season-best time and the second fastest time in the country. ASU’s ‘B’ relay had Quin Seider, Tiago Behar, Filip Senc-Samdzic and Tolu Young was fourth in 2:49.81.
