(Tempe, AZ) To open up 2025, the No. 14 Sun Devil women swept all events in their first dual meet of the spring semester against Rice with a final score of 230-70 on Friday afternoon.

Event-by-Event Breakdown
200 Medley Relay
The relay of Miriam Sheehan, Iza Adame, Julia Ullmann and Caroline Bentz broke the school record time of 1:35.69 to open the meet. The Sun Devils also took second and third place in the opening event.
1000 Freestyle
Sophomore Alexa Reyna won the event for the Sun Devils with a time of 9:52.64. Fellow sophomore Lia Csulak rounded out the top three with a time of ___.
200 Freestyle
Senior Charli Brown picked up her first win of the day with a time of 1:47.28 with graduate Erin Milligantaking third.
100 Backstroke
The Sun Devils took the first three spots with sophomore Miriam Sheehan winning the event with a 53.58 finish. Freshman Jordan Greber (54.76) took second and senior Hana Edwards (54.81) took third.
100 Breaststroke
Iza Adame won the third individual event of the day as she clocked in at 1:00.36. Ginger McMahon took second and Emma Gehlert took third.
200 Butterfly
Sonia Vaishnani won the event with a time of 1:58.15 with fellow sophomore Grace Lindberg finishing second with a time of 1:59.76.
50 Freestyle
The Sun Devil women once again took the top three spots with Bentz taking first with a time of 22.31. Julia Ullmann took second with a time of 22.87 and Erin Milligan in third with a 23.09.
100 Freestyle
Milligan won the event with a 50.39 for the first event out of the break for the Sun Devils. Indigo Armonfinished second with a 50.63 and Elli Straume took third with a time of 50.90.
200 Backstroke
Bentz won her second individual event of the day with a time of 1:53.23. Greber took second with a 1:57.71.
200 Breaststroke
Gehlert took first with 2:12.51, followed by Adame in second with 2:13.60, and Zoe Summar in third with 2:15.01.
500 Freestyle
Reyna won her second event with a time of 4:47.03 with Lindberg taking second with a time of 4:48.57.
100 Butterfly
Ullmann won with a time of 52.86 with Sheehan taking third with a 54.45 finish.
400 IM
Brown won the final individual event of the day with a 4:13.31 and Vaishnani took second with a 4:15.67.
400 Free Relay
The A relay took first with a time of 3:17.69 while the B relay took second and the C relay took third.
