The Teams
Miami is led by head coach Chuck Martin and finished the season with an 8-5 record, 7-1 in the MAC, and played int he MAC Championship game. The Redhawks had 12 players earn All-MAC honors, including 7 on the All-MAC First Team. Colorado State is coached by Jay Norvell and finished their season 8-4, 6-2 in Mountain West. CSU had four players named to an All-MWC Team, including Jacob Gardner. Gardner is also on the Rimington Trophy Watch List, an award for the best center in the nation. The Rams played in the first Arizona Bowl in 2015 and head coach, Jay Norvell, led Nevada to an Arizona Bowl victory in 2018.
