Fifth Years Named to Big 12 Preseason Team

(Irving, TX)  Three from Sun Devil Gymnastics were named to the 2025 Big 12 Preseason Team, with graduates Sarah Clark, Jada Mangahas and Emily White all receiving nods.

Mangahas made the preseason team for the all-around, Clark is on the beam squad and White received honors on both beam and floor. Mangahas and White were unanimous selections in the all-around and on beam, respectively. Each of the events had six from the conference on the preseason team, with an exception for floor due to a tie. For the full Big 12 team, head to the conference website

Clark had a solid season in 2024 on beam. She competed in every meet, earning four scores of 9.900 or better on beam. Clark won three event titles on beam, one of which came at Washington with a season-high 9.925. 

Mangahas had an exceptional senior season in 2024, competing in all but one meet and participating in 10 all-around competitions. Notably, she earned a career-high 39.450 in the all-around at Stanford. She consistently led off on vault, scoring 9.800 or higher in all but two meets, and never scored below a 9.800 on bars, earning three scores of 9.900 or higher. On floor, she maintained consistency, scoring 9.800 or better in all but one meet. She qualified for the NCAA Championships on bars after scoring a 9.900 at the Cal Regional, going on to score a 9.875 at the championships.  

White had a standout senior season as well, competing in every meet on these two preseason events. She earned three event titles on floor and two on beam. White had five scores of 9.900 or higher on beam, where she anchored the team all year. On floor, she scored 9.900 or better in six meets.
