(Colorado Springs, CO)  Despite a higher-volume offensive effort, the Arizona State ice hockey team (3-6-1, 0-2-0) dropped game two, 3-1, to the No. 8 Colorado College Tigers (8-0-0, 2-0-0) on Saturday night at Ed Robson Arena.

Arizona native David Hymovitch scored ASU’s sole goal at 19:16 in the third period to protect the Sun Devils from a road shutout. It was Hymovitch’s first collegiate goal.

ASU outshot CC, 41-21, through three periods, but couldn’t sneak enough past CC’s netminder who made a season-high 40 saves.
