Bucs Lose at Warner Pacific 55-79

(Portland, OR)  The Park University men’s basketball team (0-3, 0-0) fell to the Warner Pacific University Knights, Friday afternoon on the road at C.C. Perry Gymnasium in Portland, Ore.

The second game of a back-to-back did not treat the Buccaneers kindly, as they shot a collective 28.8% from the field in this 55-79 loss.

Caleb Geisendorfer, the junior transfer from Ventura College, recorded his first double-double at Park-Gilbert with 11 points and 11 rebounds. He was on the floor for nearly the entire game, recording 37 minutes played.

Senior guard Mahlik Lindsey led the Bucs in scoring today with 15 points, nailing three of six three-pointers.

The Knights were led by a 20-point outing from guard Matt Solomon along with a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double from forward Sean Johnson.

The Buccaneers return to the floor this Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. MST, when they hit the road again for Chandler, Ariz. to face Justice College.
