(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College women’s soccer player Lizzie Walker (Canyon del Oro HS) produced a solid week on the pitch, and it got notice from the ACCAC.
Walker, a sophomore forward, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 25-31.
The Aztecs outscored their opponents 10-0 beating Chandler-Gilbert Community College and Paradise Valley Community College. Walker scored two goals in their 4-0 win against the Coyotes and a goal in the 6-0 win over the Pumas.
The Aztecs have outscored their opponents 19-1 in the first four games this season.
The Aztecs are back on the road on Saturday when they play GateWay Community College. The game will take place at Mesa Community College at 8:00 p.m.
