Pima Athletics finishes 14th in final 2023-24 Daktronics Cup standings

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College Athletics finished 14^th in the final 2023-24 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Daktronics Cup standings with 89 points.

Pima was ranked first among ACCAC conference teams finishing ahead of Mesa Community College, who was 15^th with 86.5 points and fifth among the NJCAA Scholarship Division that does not offer dorms or on-campus housing.

The point totals were based on the success of the colleges specifically in national championship competition during the 2023-24 season. Pima produced its best rank in the standings and most points since 2015-16. That year the Aztecs were fifth in the final standings with 124.5 points.

2023-24 – 14^th with 89 points
2022-23 – T-29^th with 54.5 points
2021-22 – 19^th with 69 points
2020-21 – T-39^th with 46.5 points
2019-20 – T-68^th with 14.5 points
2018-19 – 17^th place with 75 points

2017-18 – 24^th place with 54 points
2016-17 – 44^th place with 40.5 points
2015-16 – 5^th place with 124.5 points (1^st in schools that don’t offer dorms)
2014-15 – 10^th place with 89 points (1^st in schools that don’t offer dorms)

2013-14 – 29^th place with 49.5 points

2012-13 – 16^th place with 69.5 points

2011-12 – T-17^th place with 72 points

2010-11 – 22^nd place with 55.5 points

2009-10 – 17^th place with 69.5 points

2008-09 – 24^th place with 57.5 points
