(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College softball player Camila Zepeda (Tucson Magnet HS) capped off the 2023-24 with a huge honor from the NJCAA.
Zepeda, a sophomore infielder, was selected second team NJCAA All-American. This is the second straight year a Pima softball player was named an NJCAA All-American. Elise Munoz (Salpointe Catholic HS) earned second team honors last season. Before Munoz, the last softball player to be named an All-American was Courtney Brown (Flowing Wells HS) in 2016.
Zepeda was named ACCAC Player of the Year, first team All-ACCAC and to the All-Region I, Division I team. She was softball’s first ACCAC Player of the Year since Jordan Trujillo in 2010.
