(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College softball pitcher Jazmyne Waddell (San Manuel HS) was recognized by the ACCAC conference for the third time this season.
Waddell, a freshman LHP, was selected ACCAC Division I Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 31-Apr. 6. This was her second nod as Pitcher of the Week (Mar. 10-16). She was named Player of the Week for Feb. 18-24.
Waddell pitched 12 innings, giving up four earned runs with three strikeouts as she picked up two wins over Mesa Community College and Arizona Western College. She pitched all five innings, giving up one earned run against the Matadors in a 12-2 run rule win last Saturday.
Waddell has pitched 48.0 innings in 13 appearances with a 3.65 ERA.
The Aztecs are riding a 22-game winning streak and will hit the road on Saturday to play at Scottsdale Community College in ACCAC conference action. First game starts at 12:00 p.m.
