(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s basketball player Dillan Baker (Salpointe Catholic HS) signed his national letter of intent on Wednesday and will continue his collegiate career at the NCAA Division I level.
Baker, a sophomore guard, signed to play at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff starting in the Fall of 2024. The Lumberjacks play in the Big Sky Conference.
Baker averaged 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steal last season as he played and started 30 of the 32 games. The Aztecs went 25-7 and advanced to the NJCAA Region I, Division II Championship Game.
Baker started in Pima’s 2023-24 season opener last Saturday, scoring 20 points on 6 for 9 shooting and going 5 for 7 from three-point range in their 158-47 win over Community Christian College. He also had three assists and three steals in the game.
The Aztecs will host the Pima Fall Invitational on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. The Aztecs will play Dallas College Eastfield on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
