(Tucson, AZ) The Tucson Sugar Skulls have re-signed a pair of key contributors in Trae’varis Farrell and Dominion Ezinwa to one of the top defenses in the IFL in 2023.
LB Trae’varis Farrell returns to the team for his second season with the Skulls after debuting in 2023.
Farrell led the team in solo tackles with 59 in 14 games last season. He also tallied 7 tackles for loss, 5 pass breakups, and one sack.
Ferrell played collegiate football with Alcorn State University, finishing with 36 tackles in his final season.
DL Dominion Ezinwa returns for his second season with the Sugar Skulls and in the IFL.
Ezinwa tallied 14.5 tackles, six tackles for loss, and two sacks in 11 games played for Tucson.
Ezinwa began his college career at UNLV before transferring to Texas A&M-Commerce where after one season he totaled 34 tackles.
The defensive lineman played his High School Football at O’Fallon Township High School in Illinois.
