(San Francisco, CA) For the second week in a row, senior opposite Marta Levinska is the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after her two matches with double-digit kills helped Sun Devil Volleyball extend their perfect 14-0 start.
This is the first time in Arizona State history that the same student-athlete has won weekly awards in consecutive weeks. It’s also the second time ever that ASU has had a weekly award in consecutive weeks (also in 2013). For Levinska, it’s her fourth weekly award overall in her career, one of three Sun Devils to ever reach that number (also Macey Gardner and Christine Garner).

Levinska had another stand-out weekend to help ASU start 2-0 in Pac-12 play and stay undefeated. She led all players in kills in both matches with 18 against Arizona and 19 against Washington. This season, she has reached double-digit kills in all but one match, including five in a row. During the sweep over the Wildcats, Levinska moved into 13th place in the ASU record book for career kills. In the win over the Huskies, she notched her first double-double of the season, 23rd of her career, with 19 kills and 10 digs.
With Levinska’s help, Arizona State beat Arizona at home for the first time since the 2020-21 season and swept them for the first time since 2019 at home. The win over Washington was ASU’s first home win over UW since 2018. The team moved to 14-0, which is the third-best start in program history. The victory over the Wildcats also improved the streak of consecutive sweeps to seven in a row, tied for the longest all-time.
The Sun Devils will head on their first Pac-12 road trip of the year, traveling to the Bay Area to face No. 4 Stanford and Cal on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
