(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s basketball player Traivar Jackson (West HS, Alaska) is continuing his educational and collegiate opportunities at the NCAA Division I level.
Jackson, a forward, signed to Tarleton State University last week, a program out of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) located in Stephenville, TX.
Jackson was the first Pima men’s basketball player to be selected as a two-time NJCAA All-American. He was named to the second team in 2022 and third team last season.
He scored in double figures in 61 of the 62 career games he played in at Pima; which included nabbing double figures in all 32 games he played in last season.
Jackson averaged 18.9 points for his career. For the 2022-23 season, he went for 18.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.6 steals per game.
