(Tempe, AZ) The 2023 Sun Devil Volleyball roster has added its final student-athlete in Hoku Perez, a middle blocker out of Honolulu, Hawai’i.
“We are excited to add Hoku to the team to complete our roster,” head coach JJ Van Neil said. “She has a fantastic attitude that will be great for our culture. She adds depth at middle blocker and is a joy to be around.”
The roster is now at 15, with three middle blockers, six pin hitters, two setters and four liberos.
Perez, whose full name is Hokulani, will come to Tempe from Honolulu, where she played at Moanalua High School as a middle blocker. For her efforts in her senior season, she was named to Ali OIA’s Eastern Division 2022 Second Team. For club volleyball, she played for Spike and Serve.
