(Tempe, CA) After a career-high tying six-goal performance against No. 3 UCLA, freshman attacker Juliette Dhalluin was named Pacific Sports Federation and S&R Sport Newcomer of the Week for the third time in her career. Dhalluin was also the first player to tally six against the Bruins since Maud Megens in the 2021 NCAA Championship on May 16, 2021.
Dhalluin is the first to earn three Newcomer of the Week honors, which breaks her three-way tie between Anna Pearson and Jenna Flynn who each received two.
Her six goals extended her scoring streak to 19 games – 15 of which have been multi-goal games – which puts her at a goal in every game this season. It also marked her fourth game of 5+ goals, and is the third-most goals scored in a game by a Sun Devil.
Dhalluin is continuing to move up among freshman ranks in program history, as her six goals moved her to 59 on the season. Her 59 is third for a freshman, and eighth all time among all Sun Devil in a season. She also sits at 25 assists on the year, sixth all-time by a freshman and brings her to 84 points. Those 84 points are second to Vanda Baksa’s 122 points, who shattered the previous freshman point record last season after her 73 goals and 49 assists.
Others nominated: Morgan Netherton (USC)
