(Tempe, AZ) On Wednesday afternoon, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced the All-MPSF teams which was highlighted by the Sun Devil attacker duo of freshman Juliette Dhalluin and junior Luca Petovary.
Head Coach Petra Pardi praised the pair, “It is well deserved for them both! We have put them both in different positions new to them, and they’ve carried the team throughout the season.”
Dhalluin was named to the All-MPSF Second Team as well as the All-Newcomer Team, and has scored in every game for the Sun Devils this season. She is second in the MPSF in goals, assists, and steals through regular season play, yet she was not named Newcomer of the Year after recording very similar numbers to last season’s Newcomer of the Year, ASU’s Vanda Baksa.
Petovary picks up the second All-MPSF honor of her career after being named All-MPSF Honorable Mention as a freshman in 2021.
Freshman attacker Juliette Dhalluin: All-MPSF Second Team and MPSF All-Newcomer Team

Her 62 regular season goals was second most in the MPSF, and is the most among freshman– the next highest being MPSF’s Newcomer of the Year Jenna Flynn with 49. The 29 assists Dhalluin notched was just one behind Stanford’s Ryann Neushul. Dhalluin recorded a goal in every game this season which sets her scoring streak to 21 straight games, 16 of which were multi-goal games and 12 of those being hat tricks or better. She led the Sun Devils in goals all season, and has increased among the program’s freshman ranks. In the single-game ranks, Dhalluin’s 12 point performance (6G-6A) against Marist is the second most in a game behind Petovary’s 14 which had been set the week before.
Junior attacker Luca Petovary: All-MPSF Honorable Mention
This honorable mention is the second of Petovary’s career, and comes during one of her best seasons in the maroon and gold. Petovary’s 32 steals is the fourth most in the MPSF and second most for ASU behind Dhalluin. Her 47 goals is a new single-season high after 45 came during her freshman campaign. Those 47 goals came in 17 games, 10 of which were multi-goal games and six being games with 3+ goals. Petovary also recorded single-game career highs with a seven goal performance against Salem, which ties for second place in the program’s single-game scoring behind Vanda Baksa’s eight goals. Against Salem, she also recorded seven assists to put her at 14 points which shattered the program’s single game point record.
