(Towson, MD) Freshman Teagan Ngorchestrated a hat trick next to senior captain Kaylon Buckner’s two goals in the Sun Devils’ 17-10 loss to Towson Sunday morning. Arizona State lacrosse (1-2) will head back on the road March 3-5 as they take on Jacksonville and Florida

Buckner and Ng lead the Sun Devils in goals with six apiece.

Buckner claimed the first Sun Devil goal after a successful clear by the Devils 4:50 into the first quarter to tie 1-1. Continuing the run, Ng scored on a free position and in a drive to the net with under 90 seconds remaining in the quarter. McKenna Riley would put the squad up 4-3 with one second left. ASU went down by one in the second quarter until a yellow card was given and Lydia Oldknow capitalized on the man-up to make 5-5. Towson took a quick lead before Buckner grabbed a free-position goal and Annie Haley found the back of the net for a Hall 8-7 lead into half.
The second half of the game was highlighted by Ng scoring her third in the third to give her the hat trick. In the final five minutes, Stokesberry popped in her goal which brought the Sun Devils to double digits.
