(Santa Barbara, CA) The Park University Gilbert men’s and women’s track teams participated in the Sunshine Invitational, hosted by Westmont University. The Buccaneers had eight players with top-5 five finishes and 13 with top-10 placements.
Sophomore Dylan Hukill continues his fantastic indoor season, finishing in the top-5 consistently in every NAIA or JC meet he competes in the 60-meters. He also finished in the top-five in the 200-meters.
Nardia Padilla finished second in the long jump at 4.76 meters, while Manuel Najera finished second in the 600-meters with a time of 1:35.42. Johanna Jessop finished third in the long jump at 4.75 meters. Padilla also finished fifth in the 400-meters.
The Buccaneers return home and head to Flagstaff for another invitational at Northern Arizona next weekend on February 17.
