(Phoenix, AZ) The Indoor Football League officially announced a three-year partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights and Dollar Loan Center to host the IFL National Championship game in Henderson, Nevada.
This season’s event will take place on August 13th, at Dollar Loan Center in the 5,567-seat state-of-the-art arena that is just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.
Arizona Rattlers Team President/Head Coach Kevin Guy on the announcement: “This is a significant day for the IFL and for Rattlers fans alike. This move puts our league directly in the Sports Entertainment Capital of the World. Las Vegas is a rapidly-growing sports tourism destination that drives in fans from across the globe. We want to be on the biggest stage and give IFL fans a game and experience they will not forget.”
Tucson Sugar Skulls CEO Cathy Guy stated: “We are absolutely thrilled about the direction the league is moving. This move highlights the IFL by offering a preset destination in the heart of the Sports Entertainment Capital of the World. The venue, location, fan experience, and entire partnership should give IFL fans something to look forward to every year.”
Formerly known as the United Bowl, it will now be rebranded as “The Dollar Loan Center IFL National Championship”.
IFL Commissioner Todd Tryon added: “This is another giant step forward for our league. We have had a desire to go with a predetermined site for a couple of years now. Given the location, venue, partnerships, title sponsor of Dollar Loan Center, and a three-year commitment, the timing was now.”
